Votiva Instructions

Why Suffer?

Votiva is a life changing answer to a variety of internal and external feminine concerns that can occur due to aging, child birth, and/or hormonal changes.

Votiva is FDA approved, non-surgical, pain free, safe and effective with little to no down time.

As the body ages or undergoes changes, such as when giving birth to a child, there is often a loss in elastin, collagen, and even estrogen.

This can cause a range of potential concerns including urinary incontinence, dryness, painful sex, recurring yeast and/or urinary tract infections, reduced elasticity and wrinkles on the vulva and labia, as well as lower sensitivity and reduced blood flow.

Votiva utilizes heat and radio frequency technology to provide a better quality of life for women who want to have more control over their feminine health. Votiva is not a laser which can cause burns. It is safe and gentle.

What is the treatment like?

The Forma V device will be inserted into the vaginal canal, delivering heat and radio frequency energy to the vaginal tissue. Careful rotation of the device will be performed to ensure the treatment is applied to the entire inside of the vagina. The Forma V wand will then be passed over the external tissue of the vagina to firm the tissue.

Most treatment plans consist of three treatments spaced two to four weeks apart. Occasionally, a fourth treatment is needed. As our bodies’ continue to age, one maintenance treatment will be needed every 6-18 months, depending on your particular needs. You will need to pay close attention for signs of any issues.

How soon will I experience results?

Many patients have reported noticeable results immediately following the first treatment. Optimal results will be achieved with a series of treatments and collagen and elastin can continue to improve for a few months after your last treatment.

Is it safe if I’ve had cancer?

Yes! Women who have had breast cancer do not have the option of hormone replacement therapy. Votiva can address a wide variety of feminine issues for women that have had cancer.
