Rob received his Physician Assistant degree from the University of Texas in 1995 and received his Master’s degree in 1997 from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He has 35+ years of medical experience including Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Flight Medicine and Pain Management, most of which he acquired while serving in the US Army for 24 years. Rob has been married to his wife, Julie, since 1989 and they have four adult children. In his spare time Rob enjoys spending time with his family, flying his drone, shooting guns, and watching sports.
Julie Tomsett – Office Manager
Julie has worked in management in various corporate settings. For many years she was primarily a stay-at-home-mom with various part time jobs including a spokesmodel for Mad Housewife Wine, an internet retailer and a real estate investor. She is a published author and excels in advertising and marketing. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and traveling.
Krystal Lynch, RN, WHNP-BC
Krystal Lynch graduated in 2009 from Vanderbilt University with her Master of Science in Nursing. She was the only mid-level provider in Tennessee to complete her certificate in Advanced Training in Obesity Medicine by the American Society of Bariatric Physicians in 2012. Her practice focuses are Women’s Health and Obesity Medicine. Krystal is a native of Huntsville, AL. She and her husband, Fount, have been married since 2005 and have three beautiful, boisterous daughters; Naomi, Cordi, and Merri and two fur babies. They are members of Brentwood Hills Church of Christ. Krystal enjoys traveling, sewing, playing with her kids, golfing and spending time outdoors.
Retha Thomas, FNP-C
Retha has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1999. She received her Master’s degree in Nursing from Tennessee State University. She has been an RN since 1980, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Itawamba Junior College and obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama in 1996. She has many years of experience in Family practice, Urgent Care, and Complex Case Management. She also has experience in management as she was the Director of Community Clinics for a large hospital. Retha is passionate about holistic patient care and loves people. She has been married to her husband, Mark since 1986. They have two children, Justan and Kelli, and one grandson, Collin. For recreation, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, fishing, and cooking.
Susan Owens – Patient Services Coordinator
Susan has served in the medical field for many years and with GracePointe Healthcare since the beginning. Susan excels in customer care and is the glue that holds the office together. She has a son, daughter and five beautiful grandchildren. When not working, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, Dillard, and their other family members Presley and Jasper (their dogs).
Ericka Manns, MA
Ericka is a native Tennessean and became a Medical Assistant in 2010. She has worked with Alzheimer’s /dementia patients, high risk obstetrics, orthopedics, dialysis, as well as long term care. Ericka enjoys healthcare & is convinced it is here life’s calling. She has two outgoing daughters and says, “I gave them life, but they gave me life.” She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and animals. She is the proud momma of two dogs and two birds.
Dr. Ted Leichner, DO – Supervising Physician
Dr. Leichner is a native of Adel, GA and a graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and Board certified through The American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Army National Guard, has served three tours of duty in Iraq. In his spare time, Dr. Leichner enjoys swimming, running and biking. He and his lovely wife, Delana, reside in Franklin with their six children.
